This guide covers​ the basics of your referral program’s administration web portal and where to find important settings. See Navigating the Referral SaaSquatch Portal for additional details about the information the portal makes available to you.

Getting Started

If your organization already has a Referral SaaSquatch program, you can get someone who already has access to the project to invite you.

To get started with configuring your referral program, log in to your Referral SaaSquatch account.

If you don’t already have an account or program, please contact our sales team to get started.

Reset Password

To reset a forgotten password:

  • Click on Forgot password on the login page.
  • Fill in the email address that you have linked to your Referral SaaSquatch Account.
  • Check your email.
  • Follow the instructions in the reset password email sent to your inbox (be sure to check your spam, promotions and updates folders).

Project Setup

Create a Project

To create a Growth Automation project, see Growth Automation Program Setup Quickstart.

As SaaSquatch no longer offers free trial accounts, please ensure that you have completed the Sales process and that the Success team has created your first project on your behalf before proceeding.

Invite Team Members

Invite Team Members


Once you have an account you can start inviting team members to join you on the project:

  • Click on the round My Account account on the top-right hand corner of the Portal
  • Select 'Invite Team Members'
  • Enter their email address(es), separated only by a space (no commas)
  • Click [Send Invite].

Create Additional Programs

If Growth Automation is activated for your account, you can create multiple referral programs to support different campaigns. Learn more about Growth Automation here.

Delete a Project

If you would like to delete a project, please contact our support team with the name of your program and the live or test tenant alias and we can delete the program for you.

WARNING: Please be aware that once a project has been deleted there is not way to recover it or any data it contained.

Check Billing Details

Project Billing


The Billing Details of your Account are located in the 'Project Billing' link under the round My Account icon on the top-right hand corner of the Portal.

Here you will find information on:

Current Subscribed Plan
Registered Participant Limit & Limit Usage
Payment Information
Current credit card (obfuscated)
Payment History
A list of past payments with Order ID, Date of payment, Total Amount of payment, and State of payment

Navigating the Referral SaaSquatch program portal is designed to be simple and intuitive so that key information and settings are easy to find. The navigation of the portal is broken down into two key areas: the main navigation bar along the top, and the sub-menu that populates from the main navigation.

Top Navigation

Top Navigation


The Navigation bar along the top allows you to:

  • Select from your Live or Test tenant
  • Access your programs
  • View and create reports
  • View and manage participants
  • View and modify implementation & overarching program settings
  • Access the My Account button which covers:
    • Access to account options
    • The ability to invite team members
    • Billing information
    • A link to logout

Test vs Live

Each Referral SaaSquatch Program has two "modes": Live and Test. These modes both play important but different roles in the life of your program.

The functionality of your live and test modes (tenants) are very similar with only minor variation to accommodate the slight differences in the uses of each of them.

On a usage level your test mode (tenant) is designed to be used in the process of setting up your program. Use this tenant when first intgrating your referral program, and when testing connections with platforms you integrate with. Your live tenant should only be used once you have completed all your testing and configuration and you are ready to launch your referral program for your customers to use.

When making use of this guide, the majority of the functionality available in the portal can be performed in either the live or test tenants.

Test Data

In your test tenant you have to option to delete test data.

To learn how to access this functionality, follow the guide on Navigating the SaaSquatch Portal.

Please note: Live tenants do not provide the option to delete data.

The sub-menu that populates under the main navigation bar provides comprehensive access to your program settings and is divided into the following four sections:

  • Programs
  • Reporting
  • Participants
  • Settings

Account Settings

Click on the round My Account on the right-hand side of the main navigation, and select Account Settings.

In the Account Settings popup there are options to change your login email address or account password:

Change Login Email
Under Change Email Address section:

  • Enter your new email
  • Enter your current password
  • Click Save

Change Password
Under Change Password section:

  • Enter your current password
  • Enter your new password
  • Re-enter your new password
  • Click Save
